The Starter Courses follow a progressive program that incorporates elements and concepts with increasing difficulty as the student progresses.
The program will help you build a strong basis while having fun and expanding your social circle.
You will receive tools and opportunities to develop your confidence in the tango community.
While beginners build the fundamental blocks of their dance, intermediate and advanced dancers can also derive great value from reviewing their grounds.
It’s never too late to fix old problems, get rid of a bad habit or open your mind to a new way of experiencing tango.
During Spring and Autumn, Tango 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Courses are made of 6 1-hour long classes each. The classes are held on the same schedule once a week during a period of 6 weeks.
During Summer, the courses are made of 4 75-minute classes held on the same schedule once a week during a period of 4 weeks.
Courses require previous registration to attend.
You may join once the course has started, but you will not be discounted for lost classes.
These Courses are strictly role-balanced. That means we only accept the same amount of followers as leaders.
If you have a partner to register with, that’s great! You can include them in your registration or they can register themselves.
If you don’t have a partner, submit your application as a single dancer. Your application will be approved once a dancer from the opposite role applies.
If you miss (or know you will miss) a class of your course, you are allowed to make up for it by taking one class of a lower-level course during the same period of time of your course.
This means you won’t be able to recover your class once your course is finished.
We recommend coordinating with your partner to take the class together since we cannot guarantee a partner for you in your recovery classes.
It’s a weekly assisted training space—a middle ground between a structured class and a formal milonga.
It provides a supportive environment to practice what you’ve learned under the supervision of expert teachers.
Teachers circulate the floor to provide instant technical advice and solve specific doubts.
A pressure-free space to try new steps and techniques. It’s the perfect place to make mistakes and learn!
Connect with other dancers in a friendly, collaborative atmosphere.
Instructors provide brief consultations and corrections to everyone; they do not offer long-form assistance to a single couple.
The teacher’s role is to oversee the entire floor. You are encouraged to practice with partners or solo using the mirrors and music.
👉 Note: If you seek 100% individualized focus on your development, we recommend booking a Private Lesson.
